2008 Model Year Discontinued Models
As previously communicated in the 2008 model year forecast letter, the following models will be discontinued in the 2008 model year. The VRSCR, VRSCX (limited one year offering), XL50 (limited one year offering), FXSTD, and the FLSTSC. In addition, the FLHRS, FXST, FXDWG, and the XL883R will also be discontinued in the 2008 model year.
Keine Street Rod mehr - mmmmh da wird wohl adäquater Ersatz anstehen, die SE Rod war eh limitiert, desgleichen die Anniversary Sporty (eh ein Witz sowas als Jubelmodell anzupreisen), Weicharsch Deuce entfällt (gabs 07 in D auch nicht - blöde Idee fand ich). Weiterhin entfallen die Standard Softail (wiederum ungut für Umbauwütige) und die Springer Classic. Bei den Dynas wird die Ikone Wide Glide (vorübergehend?) aus dem Sortiment gekillt ... oha! Die Tourerriege muß auf die (sehr geile i.m.o.) Road King Custom verzichten und die 883R wird ebf. in den Ruhestand geschickt (bis zur nächsten Evolutionsstufe ... ich sag nur XR und freu mich, dass mein oranges Luder dann Kultstatus erhält).
Das alles läßt auf einen mehr als interessanten neuen Jahrgang hoffen!
