Das Thema hatten wir schon einmal in einem anderen Thread, weil es aber gerade Thema im US-Forum ist, hier ein Zitat und paar Zahlen für den Beschleunigungsvergleich auf der Viertelmeile:
Zitat Anfang:
The January 2006 issue of Motorcycle Consumer News has a full test of the Yamaha Roadliner. The test results which they posted are as follows:
Top Speed - 125.5 mph. 1/4 mile at 12.32 seconds at 107.27mph.
Power to weight ratio 1:8.98. They stated that the wet weight of the bike was 761.5 pounds. Compression ratio of 9.5:1. They further stated that they tested it against four other cruisers which are as follows.
H-D CVO 103 Fat Boy - 726 lbs at 12:74 in 104.6mph in 1/4 mile.
Kawasaki Vulcan 2000 at 818 lbs at 12:15 in 106.7mph in 1/4 mile.
Honda VTX 1800 at 753 lbs in 12.12 at 109.47mph in 1/4 mile.
Triumph Rocket III at 796.5 lbs in 11:44 at 118.33 mph in 1/4 mile.
They did give a good review of the roadliner and did state that it seemed lighter than what it actually weighed in at. They stated that it felt lighter and handled better than the Honda and the Kawasaki. Tester stated that "I'm not suprised that it wasn't the quickest of the three(honda and kawasaki), but the quality and rideability of the engine is very good; better that the VTX, which struck me as too abrupt in delivery, while the Vulcan definitely feels very heavy - not slow certainly, but massive nonetheless".
Zitat Ende!
Nicht das Ihr jetzt denkt, ich wollte den Harley-Treibern das Weihnachtsfest verderben. Nie im Leben nicht!
